Love those plaid pants!
One of his favorite games is when Daddy chases him around the ottoman... it's quite funny apparently.

Not diggin the avocado here....just pass the Cheerios.We had his 9 month check up yesterday (5 days shy of his actual 9 month b-day but who's counting?). He is growing and doing all the right things. Weighing in at 20 pounds 10 ounces and measuring 28 3/4 inches, he is right around the 50th percentile for both. He now has 8 teeth- 4 top, 4 bottom.
Some favorites:
- Standing- he has been letting go of whatever he pulls himself up on and just hanging out on his own for a few seconds here and there.
- Babbling- we've heard some Dada and Mama but nothing directed at either of us yet. Exciting though!
- Cheerios- he'll eat some carrots, green beans, broccoli, pears, etc, but he is mostly all about the Cheerios. I have learned not to put them on his tray first.....
- Peek-a-boo- loves this! Even better if he is on one side of a door and I am on the other.....he loves opening and shutting the door and giggling while I say "Where did Ian go??".
He has also starting getting a little separation anxiety, which makes leaving him even harder than before, but I think he is doing ok. Luckily he is still easily distracted.
Last weekend (Easter) was awesome- we stayed in MN due to a wedding :) in my family and some cousins in from Switzerland. Ian got to meet lots of people. Overall it was a busy yet still relaxing weekend. Having Good Friday off and getting my massage (a Christmas gift from Adam) helped with the relaxing part. Next weekend we are heading back to WI to see Adam's side and spend some quality time w/ Grandma and Grandpa.
The wedding is coming along- most of the big stuff is booked and we are in a sort of waiting period-limbo before we can do much more. We still have cake tasting(yum!) and I have to make the final decision on the bridesmaid dresses, but otherwise all is quiet on the wedding front.
Hopefully I will be better about posting from now on..if not, see you again in 6 weeks ;)
