Rice (cereal) is nice

Here is a brief photo essay on Ian's experience with solids thus far:

He is still a little unsure about them. Right now about 5% of the cereal is actually ingested, the other 95% gets all over his shirt and in his double chin. But every once in awhile he gets it right :)

Oh Christmas Tree....

We got our tree the other night! We started decorating it with the limited number of ornaments we have and my purple lights- I think we need to get some colored balls this weekend to liven it up a bit. I still say the tree is leaning a little too much but Adam says it's fine, so.....what do you think?
Cheeto likes to drink the water and bat the ornaments. Ian hasn't seen it with lights on yet (he was sleeping) so I am excited to see what he thinks tonight.

see if you can spot Cheeto in this one :)

Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! oh wait....I'm a week late. Oops. Hope your turkey day was a good one still! Ian enjoyed his first Thanksgiving in an outfit that was a little too short on him (bought in September b/c it was 'just soooo cute'). Luckily it was a pretty laidback day and my family isn't really picky when it comes to fashion :)

Last week was awesome. I had Wed-Sun to spend w/ Ian and I think we had a good time! We went to Robin's for Thanksgiving day and there was a chicken walking around in the backyard. She does not live in the country by any means. This was very strange. Here's a picture of said chicken:

Sunday we made Kleinurs (an Icelandic doughnut-like treat my family makes every year at Christmas) at my Aunt Sue's house w/ some of my cousins. Ian had a good time pulling hair and being cute. Next year he'll get to actually eat a kleinur- can't wait!

And in between Wednesday and Sunday we did a lot of hanging out, like so.......

If you look close you can see his wittle teef in this one :)
